Applications and timescales

Applicants are requested to ensure that the parties submit their applications under sections 18 and 22 as soon as they are agreed, to allow the Office of Rail Regulation (ORR) to consider them in a fair manner having regard to its section 4 duties under the Railways Act 1993. Schedule 4 to the Act sets out the minimum timescales for applications under sections 17 and 22A.
