Following an industry consultation in May 2009, we published drafting for two track access option model clauses. It was decided not to develop a wide range of generic model clauses. Applicants should use either the passenger or freight model contract and application form as appropriate. 

We recommend that any party intending to make an application for a track access option contact us at an early stage to discuss its plans and aspirations, and the likely timing of the application.
