RUS - recent developments
There are 17 geographical RUSs plus the Freight and Network RUSs. So far Network Rail has developed and established eight RUSs which include South West Main Line, Cross London, Scotland, Freight, North West, Greater Anglia, East Anglia Main Line and South London. All the remaining RUSs have commenced except for the West Coast Main Line RUS.
The Lancashire and Cumbria RUS was published on 29 August and was established on 28 October 2008. Yorkshire and Humber Draft for Consultation RUS was published on 26 September 2008 and the consultation closes on 18 December 2008.
All responses to each RUS are posted on Network Rail’s own website; ORR’s responses are available under ‘Related Links’ on this page.
