Freight Working Group minutes

The Freight Working Group was a sub-group to the main Railway Industry Advisory Committee (RIAC).

It provided specialist advice to RIAC on health and safety aspects of the railway freight industry.

Its terms of reference were:

"the Freight Sub Group of the Rail Industry Advisory Committee (the Committee) shall advise the Committee, or consider issues referred to it by the Committee, in developing the strategy for the protection of people at work and society from the particular hazards to health and safety arising from the operation of freight trains."
