Section 17 and 18 - new track access contracts

This page contains all current applications we are considering for new, agreed contracts (section 18 of the Railways Act 1993) and new, disputed contracts (section 17 of the Act). When we have made our decision, the information held in the current application section is moved into the relevant decisions section.

In line with the Industry code of practice (see Annex A of our criteria and procedures document), Network Rail is responsible for consulting on most proposed new contracts and amendments. Accordingly, please check Network Rail's consultation webpages (select Track Access) as well as our own when looking for details of current consultations.
