Network Rail monitor

The Network Rail monitor is key in discharging our duty to hold Network Rail to account.

It is a quarterly publication which combines scorecards of high-level key performance indicators (KPIs) with commentary on recent performance. It was first published in 2004, covering Great Britain as a whole, separate scorecards for England & Wales and for Scotland were introduced in 2005.

Some amendments have been made following our consultation on the Network Rail monitor, and we are considering the suggestions for additional measures.

In addition we produce the Annual assessment and the National rail review.
