Incident at Ufton Nervet, Berkshire, Saturday 06 November

Following Saturday evening’s incident on the West of England main line at Ufton Nervet, Berkshire, Chris Bolt, the Chairman of the Office of Rail Regulation issued the following statement:

“I am greatly saddened at Saturday’s horrific crash and the extent of the casualties. On behalf of the ORR Board, I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to the bereaved, the injured and to their families and friends.”
